Parents We Need Your Help!

1^st ST AGNES PARENTS FUND RAISING COMMITTEE 

We are fortunate to have a successful and growing Scout Group with around 115 boys and girls regularly attending one of the four sections. This, of course is great news, however, the increasing number of young people obviously places a strain on our existing resources. Much of our equipment is decades old and badly needs replacing. As a Group we would also like to purchase equipment which could be used by the boys and girls therefore making all activities accessible to all.   

With this in mind we, as Leaders are approaching all parents with a view to setting up a Parents Fundraising Committee which would raise funds solely for our Group. We are certain that there is a wealth of skill and knowledge amongst our parents which could be put to good use. All Leaders work voluntarily for the benefit of our young people and are willing to support this venture, however, we are hoping that parents would drive this initiative forward. 

It would be good to have parents from all four sections and a couple of parents have already volunteered their services. With a sufficient number of committed people we believe that this venture could be profitable and strengthen the St Agnes Scout Group further.
